The movie starts slow with Deepika introducing each and every character, their lives in a small village which you can’t even find in the map, as said by Deepika. The story and their lives are going on slow till Naseeruddin Shah gets a letter which he once posted some 46 years back, but it was never delivered. He then realizes that the only women he loved never knew that he loved her. Then Deepika makes him realize that he should try and find her. Then they all go on a road trip to find Fanny. The rest of the story is about how they find Fanny and most importantly LOVE.
Homi Adjani is back after Cocktail. He knows his characters and story very well, the way he handles his story is superb. Cinematography is beautiful.
When actors like Naseeruddin Shah and Pankay Kapur are on screen you just see magic, they are a treat to watch, Dimple Kapadia is outstanding. Arjun Kapoor has done a brilliant job. Deepika is just improving by each movie. She looks extremely beautiful and charms you.
The story is simple and good but at times it slows downs, there are times when you laugh. The dialogs are good, but somewhere something was missing. The short-lived appearance by Ranveer Singh is outstanding.
Overall it’s a good movie… but it is for multiplex audience. I will give it 2.5 stars out of 5.
